Sony Ericsson W760i disassembly

Sony Ericsson W760i disassembly

Tools required: Phillips size 0 screwdriver

Run your fingernail along the edge of the join of the front cover. Start at the top as there are two hooks at the bottom of the cover which will be damaged otherwise. Make a mental note of this and when you come to putting the front cover back on, start at the bottom, making sure the hooks slide back into position first.

You should now have the front cover removed, like below.

Lift the screen away from the rest of the phone. You'll see it's attached by a ribbon. The ribbon, circled below, attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift it up to unplug it

You should now have the LCD screen removed. Replace with new and reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
