LG KE850 Prada disassembly

LG KE850 Prada disassembly

Tools required: Phillips screwdriver

Remove the back cover, battery and four screws you can see

Next run your fingernail all the way round the edge of the antenna cover to release it

Your phone will now be in two parts, like below. Remove the two screws you now have access to at the top of the phone

Now run your fingernail all the way round the edge of the front cover to release it. Note that it will still be attached by a ribbon so be careful not to damage this.

Now unplug the ribbon indicated below. It attaches like a plug and socket and is detached simply by lifting it up. You can now remove this part of the circuit board

With that part of the circuit board removed you now peel back the tape which holds the ribbon from the back of the LCD screen in place. Look at how it attaches and take note when detaching it. Detach the ribbon by pulling it back in the direction of the arrows

The LCD screen is now released and can be replaced. You have now removed the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
