Sony Ericsson W580i disassembly

Sony Ericsson W580i disassembly

Tools required: Torx 5 screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.

Remove the front cover cover by lifting it away from the rest of the housing with a little force, starting where the arrow indicates, then run your fingernail along the edge of the housing to unclip it

Your phone should now be in two parts, as below

Lift the LCD from right to left, as shown below

The LCD is held to the phone by a ribbon which attaches like a plug and socket. Simply unclip this and you have removed the LCD. Reverse the procedure for reassembly
