Sony Ericsson K610i disassembly

Sony Ericsson K610i disassembly
Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver

Remove back cover and battery. You'll now have access to two torx 6 screws. Remove these

To remove the aerial cover push the torx 6 screwdriver into the recess at the angle shown. Some force is required to make the aerial cover unclip

Now remove the two torx screws you have access to at the top of the phone

Run your fingernail along the edge of the housing to unclip the front cover

Now remove the main part of the phone from the chassis

Unclip the ribbon circled below. It attaches like a plug and socket so just lift it and it'll unclip.

Unclip the metal plate at both sides

Unclip the ribbon, circled below

Lever the LCD out, replace with the new LCD and reverse the procedure for reassembly
