Samsung E590 disassembly

Samsung E590 disassembly
Tools required: Phillips size 0 screwdriver

First remove the battery cover & battery. Remove the four screws you see. Note that the silver screw goes in the bottom right slot

Run a plastic shim like a guitar plectrum or credit card all the way around the camera surround to unclip it, allowing its removal.

Your phone will now look like below. Now remove the two screws you can see at the top of the phone.
Run your fingernail around the join of the front cover to loosen this part. Don't try and pull the front cover off though (see the next stage)

The front cover will still be attached by two wires connected to the speaker at the top of the phone so just lift to cover like below rather than trying to remove it completely.

You can now lift the screen. It's attached by a series of spot solder so you will need to solder your new screen on. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
