Nokia N Gage disassembly

Nokia N Gage disassembly

Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver

First remove the battery cover and battery.

You now need to remove the front cover. It's held on with clips along the bottom edge. Use a little force and the cover will come away.

You should now have the cover removed, like below. Remove the nine screws you can see.

Now remove the metal frame, like below. The LCD screen is attached by a ribbon (circled). This connects like a plug and socket. Simply lift it up, away from the phone, to unplug it

You can now replace the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
