Nokia 5300 xpress music disassembly

Nokia 5300 xpress music disassembly
Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver

Run your fingernail around the edge of the front cover to release the clips which hold the cover in place

You can now remove the front cover and your phone will look like below. Remove the four screws you can see
Once you've removed the four screws you can lift away the metal frame which sits on top of the LCD
You can now lift the LCD from the phone. The LCD is attached by a connected which connects like a plug and socket. Simply lift it upward to unplug. You can now remove the LCD

You can now replace the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
