Installing iPod Shuffle 1st Generation Hold Switch

Parts relevant to this guide : iPod Shuffle Gen 1 Hold Switch

Step 1 — Hold Switch
Before opening your iPod, ensure that the hold switch is in the locked position.

Step 2
Use a spudger to pry up the white plastic hold switch.

Congratulations!
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order
